The Story Time Pad is easy for kids to operate on their own. A switch on the back slides to turn the device on and off. (In the case of an auto shutoff, the device will restart with the touch of any button.) The clearly labeled buttons on the lower part of the interface let kids select story, music, and message mode. Our testers liked that in music mode kids could hit the paw button and press the letters to make silly animal and other sounds. That way, they're not simply listening, but are actually interacting with the device.
Pros:
--Set-up is easy, though it does require connection to a computer with a USB cable for optimal use.
--The ABC feature is very well done. When you press a letter, the toy tells you the name of the letter, the sound of the letter, and something that starts with that letter.
--The toy is durable and does not break, even when dropped on a hard surface.
--The auto shut-off feature saves on battery power (the toy requires 3 AA batteries).
--The toy is the perfect size for little hands--not too big and not too small.
--You can program the toy to use your child's name in stories. This is a fun feature.

Turned Angry Bird, into a NEW Game!! There are sensors under the pig and they automatically unlock a special "level" of Angry Birds upon contact: with new game modes. The new level looks like a smiling pig and is found in the Golden Eggs screen. Every time you click the King Pig, you get a random level with a random mode. If you exit the level, your special level is lost forever. However, most of these modes are pretty easy to complete.

Four modes:

Total Destruction: Use your finger to destruct the level without birds within a ten second time limit! Multi-touch works great!

Bird Frenzy: Complete the level in 30-60 seconds using unlimited birds! Not as easy as it sounds: bird selection is random! Sometimes you get good ones, sometimes not.

King Pig: Turns birds into pigs! Pigs on the structure turns into the Angry Birds' eggs! Each pig has a different sprite: for example the white bird transforms into a pig with an explosive bowling ball attached!

Material Mix-Up: The hardest mode by far! Two materials swap, for example wood turns into stone and stone turns into wood! This can result in some impossible level-layouts. ;)

The Gripdaddy v2ARM is rock solid. We did have to reverse the ARM so it could be used on the passenger side. The installation was a breeze and our kids were able to watch movies on the new IPAD. Thankfully it brought some peace to our trip.
